Mark your calendars for the ORION Summit 2010! The not-to-be-missed conference for the Ontario research and education community will be held April 13, 2010, hosted at the MaRS Centre in downtown Toronto. Keynote and session topics will be organized around this year's theme of "Fostering Collaboration in Changing Times."

The ORION Summit is Ontario's premier conference bringing together leaders and innovators in research, education and innovation, showcasing achievements and new capabilities made possible through global advanced networking and exciting new collaborative tools and technologies.

ORION Summit 2010 will explore why collaboration is important to Ontario research in today's economic climate; what we can do to enhance collaboration in Ontario's research and education community; and explore the latest tools and technologies to promote, support and enable collaboration among our schools, postsecondary institutions and research organizations.

The Summit will also showcase collaborative projects taking place over advanced networks, and present new tools and technologies that can accelerate and enhance research outcomes, simplify teaching, and increase and enrich educational opportunities for students.

Join us for informative and inspiring keynote speakers and breakout sessions on topics ranging from new technologies for teaching and learning, the latest collaborative tools for research, high-performance computing for research, gaming and other topics in digital media, colleges and applied research, and more.
